This guided spiritual meditation course focuses on the understanding that we are all connected through a highly intelligent force—whether one calls it nature, the Universe, the inner self, or simply Love.
Loving-kindness plays a central role in this course. It is based on the belief that human beings are born with a limitless capacity for kindness, gentleness, softness and goodness. This powerful energy can benefit both ourselves and others, although it can get covered or even blocked by life experiences and hardships. This course offers inspiration and practices to help reconnect with loving-kindness in ways that feel true and lasting.
A fundamental tool used in these meditations is breathwork, also known as Vipassana. The focus is on the breath—a constant companion from the moment we are born until the moment we die. Breathing connects us to our body, supports its function, calms the mind, moves energy, and nourishes us in limitless ways. All of these aspects are central to the inner work we will explore together.
The meditation sessions are designed to guide towards a positive journey of self-discovery. Affirmations are used to support stability, inspiration, self-awareness, and both personal and spiritual growth. With regular practice, this can often lead to a more fulfilling, peaceful, joyful and meaningful life.
This course is open to everyone, whether you are new to meditation or already experienced.
About the Instructor: Bernd Ihno Eilts
Bernd Ihno Eilts was born and raised in the very north of Germany, near the border with The Netherlands. He has lived in the city of Groningen for more than twenty years and holds a bachelor’s degree in Art.
Having faced lifelong, challenging health issues, Bernd discovered meditation as a vital anchor during periods of deep uncertainty. For the past 25 years, he has practiced meditation daily as a way to maintain mental and physical balance.
His journey is a testament to resilience: being born with serious health conditions—and all the difficulties that come with them—did not lead him to give up. Instead, he found ways to grow joy, hope, faith, and inner strength, even when things felt very dark.
A deep calling led him to India, to the foothills of the Himalayas, where he discovered something that had long been hidden within him: the Miracle of Love.
For more than 15 years, he has been teaching meditation in various ways. He shares his practice with the belief:
“What helped me will help others too, no matter how meaningless life may sometimes seem.”
With humility and compassion, he continues to share this blessing and welcomes everyone.
In the past three years, he worked with WIJ/Slim Leven in Vinkhuizen and will now continue his work at Het Vinkhuys, also in Vinkhuizen, Groningen. Most recently, he co-hosted the International Day of Yoga 2025 in Groningen, where he guided an open-air meditation session.
